I am Amy An, a second-year Ph.D. student in Computer Science. Currently, I am focused on studying and doing research in neuromorphic computing. My research interests are Neuromorphic computing, AI/ML, Neural Network Analysis, and Data Visualization/Analysis.
In my free time, I like listening to music and playing Nintendo Switch. My favorite games are Pokémon, Kirby, and Zelda, and Persona.
View ResumeDesigned and implemented a visual interactive analytics dashboard tool in Python that visualizes the network structures, identifies the common subsequences, and calculates the distance between networks for analysis of neural network structures and validation accuracy generated by the Neural Architecture Search prediction engine using the protein diffraction dataset as an undergraduate research assistant.
Implemented Crazyflie drone so that it can fly autonomously. First, trained using Spiking Neural Network. Used virtual environment to test drone by simulating the trained drone. Then, tested it with physical drone.
Created an interactive Wordle Solver using the Bayesian model. The performance of the solver was an average of 3.87 attempts. Analyzed the average attempts used for the notorious starting words and generated heatmaps of all letter frequency.
Worked on a web-based application for real-time student-friendly campus dining options for detailed dining information including dining location, hours of operations, rating, and menu. Provided filtering system for dietary restrictions, meal type, and location. Implemented cookie system for rating function. Managed overall project idea, project direction, and design of the logo.
